The Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, in its commitment to the prosperity of the mining sector, support is the host of Nigeria Mining Week.
Responsible for identifying the nation’s solid minerals, advising the government on laws and regulations guiding the various stages of prospecting, quarrying, and mining; and handling sale and consumption of solid minerals in the country, the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development formulates policy, provides information and regulates operations in the solid minerals sector.
