To become the knowledge transfer tool sought after by all small scale miners that helps support the transformation of the mining industry in Nigeria.

What it is?

The mentorship programme is a free business accelerator empowering and strengthening the capacity of mining entrepreneurs. The programme will enable those small scale miners who need mentorship support for the growth of their activities to access mentors with the experience, knowledge and networks to help them improve efficiency, profitability and growth of their businesses.


Business counseling is a proven practice, worldwide, whereby business problems are diagnosed, expertise shared, solutions sought and guidance given.  Mentors provide assistance, counseling and support, help with business progression, develop problem-solving skills, build morale and confidence, and provide regular constructive feedback, based on experience, knowledge, skills and wisdom.

Adeniran Ajibade is the Managing Director/CEO of Architype Industries Ltd, a minerals and metals investment and consultancy company.
He had professional training in Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in Nigeria and served for more than 30years in the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. He has comprehensive knowledge of mining policy, regulatory framework and operational practices. He served as Secretary of the Presidential Committee on the Implementation of the Bitumen Project; participated in implementing the sectoral reforms that made the Nigerian mining industry globally competitive. He was a pioneering staffer in the department that formulated policies and programs for organizing, supporting and promoting Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining. Mr. Ajibade is the interim President, Gemstones Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria; member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society and the Council of Mining Engineers and Geoscientists.  

Sani Shehu Mohammed obtained his first degree in Linguistics from the University of Jos in 1991 and read Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the same university in 1996. He is an Alumni of the Gemological Institute of America [GIA], a board member of the  Solid Mineral Development Fund Member Inter-Ministerial Committee on the implementation of NEITI Audit 2013. Alhaji has been the CEO of MAILALLE NIGERIA LIMITED from 1997 till date and is currently the President Miners Association of Nigeria. 

Barrister Mrs Ebuk Ekpo is a Legal and Business Strategist on Nigeria’s Natural Resources Business, Trade and Environmental Management. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Development Administration Nigeria (IDAN). A Certified John Maxwell Team Coach, Trainer and Speaker; and The Founder and Chairperson of Relate International Foundation, (a Women and Youth Mentoring Organization). Bar. Ebuk is a lawyer with more than 25years in the Nigerian Resources Sector.

Nere Teriba is the Managing Director of Kian Smith Trade Co. Kian Smith Trade Co is involved in Mining, Consulting, and Mineral Concession Management & Minerals Trading in Nigeria. As an Entrepreneur, Mediator & Strategist, she has worked for sustainable community solutions in several countries. She holds a BSE and MSE from Carnegie-Mellon University in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Sebastine Eko is a graduate of Communication Arts with long experience in strategic communication and media campaigns for corporate organizations, high net-worth individuals and non-profit organizations. Before founding the INTEGRATED PROJECTS SOLUTIONS LTD, he has worked variously as Business Development Executive Analyst with Municomp Group, Business and Brand Development Manager with CCL feeding Clapperboard Television, the first private TV station in Nigeria, and Trade Analyst with Milestone Trading Company, Lagos, Nigeria. He was also a Programs Marketing and Commercial Analyst in various Agencies developing marketing communications for business strategies. He was a publisher and Editor in Chief of Yakurr Mirror, National Community Mirror and is on the board of a number of budding investment companies. 

Chief Charles Omuso Jumbo was born in the year 1969 at Obo Hill, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. He attended Seabed Nursery School and completed his primary education at Oromineke Primary School, DLine Ph, Rivers State. Consequently, he obtained distinction in his WASC Examination from the prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha and proceeded to Rivers State University of Science and Technology where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in the year 1986. After serving the country for one year in the NYSC program in Minna Niger State, he worked briefly with the company where did his primary assignment, Stonel Engineering Services Ltd as the Group Public Relations Officer before moving unto Lagos to work as a Stockbroker Trainee.  Consequently, he started consulting as a Management Consultant. Chief Charles completely veered off from his core area of expertise and delved into the construction of Jetties, bridges and Shore Protection to which he later incorporated Omeasigha Nigeria Ltd and runs the company till date as the Managing Director. In addition, Chief Charles has been able to successfully venture into other areas of business such as the transport sector, Remediation and export. Omeasigha Nigeria Limited maintains a technical partnership with Citadel Security Services Ltd of the UK in Remediation services.
